You don’t want to use a provider who has a checkered reputation with Return Path as your emails will get the corresponding spotty deliverability.  I recommend Constant Contact and Mail Chimp as top Email Service Providers and both have Return Path Certified Status.

Note that the IP addresses any Email Service Provider uses for delivering emails sent from the free email accounts they offer may not have this Certified status.  An Email Provider has to pay a lot of money to Return Path when they’re Certified, and with 1000’s of people using free accounts it may not be cost effective to allow all of these people access to their Certified mail server IPs.  If in doubt, ask the provider if both the free and paid accounts get their emails delivered by Return Path certified IPs.  If they do, ask them for a sample of 4 or 5 of those IPs for both free and paid accounts and look them up yourself at https://www.senderscore.org/ to confirm.

So now that you know how to consistently get emails pass anti-spam technology and into inboxes, you need to work on building your email database.  This is where your real estate website is a key part of your online sales and marketing strategy.  Not many real estate professionals realize the sole purpose of having a real estate website is building your email database.  The more you build your email database, the more your business will grow.  A great way of building up fast is by using Squeeze Pages on Craig’s List in conjunction with your site.  Read about how to do that in my 4 part article series Ramp Up Your Email Prospect Database Fast With Squeeze Pages.  Check out my Moneymaker site for real estate professionals.  It’s a turn key site geared towards quickly getting you top ranking in major search engines like Google.
