Advanced Email Marketing For Real Estate Professionals Part 8
April 21, 2010
Vistaprint is a great provider. Vistaprint has a huge variety of marketing products to choose from – everything from business cards to pens to lawn signs to presentation folders. Best of all, you can use any of about 3000 different graphic designs they offer with any of these promo items. They allow you to really customize these items on your own very quickly by using their online design tool. They have quite a few templates designed specifically for real estate and real estate professionals. As of this writing there were a total of 129 real estate related designs as follows:
Appraisal (13)
Contractor (8)
Developer (17)
Home Inspection (4)
Home Staging (15)
Mortgage & Loan (33)
Property Management (12)
Real Estate Professional (82)
Real Estate Lawyer (18)
Urban Planning (7)
For real estate professionals the 82 templates are divided as follows:
Apartment (12)
Commercial (12)
Residential (47)
Choose the Flier from this list of available promo products, pick a template from among these 82 choices, and put in the information you want the flier to contain. Then use a screen capture utility like Wisdomsoft’s Screen Hunter to grab the image from the screen. You can then use the image in your emails!
To be fair to Vistaprint, you should follow through and buy the print fliers if you’re going to use this graphic in your emails. The print fliers are very inexpensive (especially in volume) and you can distribute them throughout your neighborhood on your own while doing some networking as I’ve recommended before. This keeps your print flier branding consistent with your email campaign while keeping your costs low.
Avoiding Blacklists – even though you have a permission based opt-in mailing list you can still wind up on blacklists or getting blocked by major email providers. All it takes is for people on your list to hit the ‘mark as spam’ button or report you to a popular blacklist like SpamHaus and your overall campaign deliverability can be impacted, sometimes severely. So the larger your email list is, the more susceptible you are to spam complaints and getting blacklisted.
Your database is most likely comprised of prospects’ personal email accounts, so they’re probably using a free email account like Hotmail, Gmail or Yahoo or using an email account provided by one of the broadband or dialup ISPs available in your area.
